These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and Vana Labs, Inc. ("VANA," "we," "us," or "our"). They govern your use of vana.so, VANA's connected-agent tools, direct VANA chat experiences, websites, applications, public features, Protocols, and related services (the "Service").

By creating an account, connecting the Service to an agent or data source, or using the Service, you accept these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy and Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. If you use the Service for an organization, you state that you have authority to bind it.

The Service is offered from the United States. You are responsible for following the laws that apply to you.

2. What VANA provides

VANA helps you store and organize information, create and run Protocols, and let an approved agent act on your VANA data. A Protocol is a user-created or AI-assisted set of instructions, routines, or tracking steps.

The Service can include two separate kinds of experiences:

• Connected Agents: general protocol and routine tools used through third-party agent platforms, including ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, Perplexity, Codex, or Claude Code. Connected Agents do not include VANA's consumer health features.
• Direct VANA Experiences: interfaces where you communicate directly with VANA, including VANA chat experiences delivered through messaging services such as iMessage. When VANA expressly identifies a health-enabled feature, that feature may support consumer health and wellness information under the Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy and Medical Use Disclaimer.

The available platforms and features may change. A feature is available only when it appears in the Service. VANA may change, suspend, or end a feature. We will use reasonable notice when a material change affects an active paid service or your ability to retrieve your data.

3. Accounts

You must give accurate information and keep it current. You are responsible for your account, credentials, connected platforms, devices, and actions taken through them. Tell us at [email protected] if you believe that someone used your account without permission.

Do not share access in a way that defeats security or legal limits. You may not transfer your account without our written approval.

4. Connected agents and permissions

A connected agent can request VANA tools on your behalf. Depending on the permission that you approve, those tools can:

• read your files and other VANA data;
• create, replace, move, or delete files and data; and
